An area of less than 10,000 square meters, four provinces (Pesaro-Urbino, Ancona, Macerata, Ascoli Piceno) in the center of Italy between the Apennine Mountains and the Adriatic Sea. The Marche region has 246 towns with centuries of history, different civilizations, gentle hills producing DOC wines and famous monasteries and sanctuaries.

To meet the Marche means to stop in its characteristic villages enjoying its music and theatre, historical revivals, and open air markets displaying the works of local craftsmen: ceramics, wrought iron, wicker, pillow lace, travertine and leather. Here the population has maintained its ties with the land and its products. Food is varied from the fish soups of the Adriatic coast to the mushrooms and truffles of the national parks to the famous Ascolian olives and the Campofilone angel hair pasta of the hills.

You can come to Marche and find the variety of Italian landscapes, food and wines, and handcrafted products all in one region. Old World Italy at your fingertips!
